The STUDENT CARD is a tool that offers you, for the first time, the chance to choose YOURSELF the price for which you want to travel.

What is DACOS CARD?
It is a card enabling you to travel to all DACOS destinations, with lower and lower fares. DACOS card can be purchased in various forms: STUDENT CARD (meant for pupils and students), BUGET CARD (meant for civil servants) and CLIENT CARD.

Why using the CARD?
First, because you can travel at a low cost (the holder of a STUDENT CARD can travel, for instance, from Rm. Valcea to Bucharest for only 22 lei, the full ticket price being 29 lei). The CARD can be used for all destinations and you will benefit, in time, from many facilities provided by DACOS only for you. And, don't forget! By getting the CARD, YOU are already part of DACOS club.

How quickly can you get your own CARD?
Right after filling in the form that you will find at DACOS Agencies. Subscription to the "DACOS Advantages" program, as well as card reactivation can be done on-line, by filling in the form found here.

What documents do you need in order to obtain the Card?
Necessary documents: copy of the pupil/student card and the copy of the Identity Card.
Visit any of the DACOS Agencies, fill in the Card activation form and pay 3.50 lei. The card will be sent to you as soon as possible. You can take it either from DACOS Agencies or at the coach. The envelope will contain, beside the CARD, 10 special papers enabling you to have up to 30% discount. They are valid within 12 months from their issue date. In order to use the discount system longer, you need to reactivate your card.

How am I going to use my STUDENT CARD?
You come to the coach with your card and hand one of the 10 special papers to the driver. You ask for the preferential fare before receiving your travel ticket. When you have finished your special papers, you can require the card reactivation. Thus, for only 3 lei, you will obtain the prolongation of the card validity and a number of 10 additional special papers.
Don't forget! It is better to book a seat in the coach in advance.
