DACOS uses one of the newest and most modern fleets of coaches in Romania. The average age of our fleet was of 10.9 years in 2005, considering the fact that the average age of the national bus park is of approximately 14 years. Starting 2004, DACOS has promoted on the Romanian market a new brand of coaches, manufactured by VDL BUS & COACH. These coaches offer reliability and maintenance of a higher level, that can be obtained now at a lower cost.

You will find hereafter the presentation of the coaches used by DACOS for regular, as well as for touristic transport.

VDL BOVA Futura FHD127-365 The Dutch coach manufacturer VDL BOVA has taken the introduction of the new Euro4 and Euro5 engines as the opportunity to give the Futura, a coach that has endured considerable success over the years, a complete facelift. As well as a new driveline, the Futura has a fully revamped driver cockpit and a facelift for the front and the rear. Since February 2008, DACOS started to use the FHD120-365 and FHD127-365 models for income/outbound transport services. Transport capacity: between 42 and 48 seats.
VDL BOVA Magiq HD120-380XE Magiq was used for the first time in Romania by DACOS. The first coach was bought in 2004 and has already covered over 300.000 kilometres, with very good results. Magiq is the top product of VDL BOVA. It is available in the 12 metres version and with three axes, 13.1 and 13.9 metres long (with a DAF motor of 430CP). The ease with which it can be placed in the 4 stars category recommends the model Magiq as ideal for top touristic trips. Transport capacity: 49+1+1.
VDL BOVA Futura FHD12-380XE VDL BOVA Futura may suggest the idea of future even by its name. Irrespective of the name, Futura remains a modern coach of the present. Leaving aside the original and 'futurist' design, the front side of the coach has the best drag coefficient that, together with the strong DAF engines of 3XE series and light air lock, can provide the conditions of a minimum fuel consumption. The room of the coach is thus designed as to provide the passengers with comfort and relaxation, offering a generous space for their transport. Transport capacity: 49+1+1.
VDL BOVA Magnum FHD15-430XE VDL BOVA varied its range of products so that FUTURA can be manufactured at present also with 3 axes. VDL Bova "Magnum" is 15 metres long and was designed for the situations when 49 seats are not enough. The maximum weight allowed in this case is 24.5 tons and the volume of the luggage room is more than 12 mc. Transport capacity: 65+1+1.
SCANIA PB Starting 2002, the year of its market entry, Scania Irizar PB created a sensation due to its great design. It was appreciated for its extraordinary fuel consumption, together with its very good manoeuvre system and the safety granted by K Scania air lock combined with Scania engines and gear boxes. Passengers enjoyed the full comfort and the great interior design of Scania Irizar PB. DACOS has owned the first coach of this type since 2004. Scania PB has become the favourite coach of STEAUA Bucuresti football team, most of the sport trips of this club being made by by SCANIA PB. Transport capacity: 48+1+1.
SCANIA IRIZAR Century One of the best-selling coaches in the world Scania Irizar Century is now upgraded to be even more economical to operate. The latest version of this distinctive classic is equipped with new features to enhance comfort, spaciousness and styling. We can specify the Scania Irizar Century as an express or tourist coach and we are certain that our passengers will enjoy a smooth, restful ride in comfort and style. Transport capacity: 46+1+1.
MERCEDES O350 Tourismo It is one of the best known Mercedes coaches. This model was successfully used by DACOS during the last years. Transport capacity: 49+1+1.
SETRA S215HD & SETRA S250 Special DACOS started its activity with this type of coach. Even if most of the SETRA coaches owned by DACOS are quite old, this brand has managed to maintain its place on the market due to the extreme realiability of the coaches manufactured. SETRA will probably dominate the purchase decision of the transport operators for a long period of time. Transport capacity:between 44 and 49 seats.
TRAILERS Starting from 2006, DACOS offers the possibility to use, if necessary, trailers attached to the back side of the coaches. There are situations when the luggage room of the coaches cannot meet the needs of the clients. The trailer may be a solution! All our trailers are manufactured by PANCAR srl Sibiu by observing the provisions EURO, T.I.R. and R.A.R. Trailer characteristics (axes/ maximum weight allowed/ length/ width/ height): 2/till 3.5to/4.5m/2.0m/2.0m.
